Wood becomes Carbonized when it is put into specially designed heating chambers that are heated up to 480 degrees Fahrenheit.

The high heat and humidity causes the sugar in the woods (hemicellulose) to caramelize and the cell walls of the wood changes its composition. This transformation of Carbonization brings on new characteristics, i.e., more durable yet light weight, antimicrobial (resistant against fungi and insects), hypo allergenic and a radical reduction in water absorption.

PLEASE NOTE: There’s a small hole on the bottom of the rubber pneumatic pad. This is designed so that air can escape the brush to protect the hair, making brushing enjoyable and the hair happy. This is not a missing bristle.
